Purple Towels | Purple Bath Towels

What do you do when you get stuck between red and blue? You go PURPLE! Seriously though, it's one of those 'tween colors where it's not really red and it's not really blue, but when you mix them both together you get this awesome new shade called purple. Purple can actually be a bit difficult when trying to use it as a basic design element in my opinion, but using it as accents can make for some very dramatic visual appeal. Thus using soft purple towels as an accent to a vibrant bright white bathroom wall can really make them standout.

Just about everyone has a favorite color and this one may be yours. If it is, that's probably why you are hear looking for those perfect purple bath towels.

Here's something to think about when you go out looking for some purple bath towels. A lot of times you won't hear them called by that. With all the different shades, you'll want to check in on some of purple's other surnames like "grape" or "plum", "eggplant" or "lavender", "lilac" or "violet". This is especially true when searching for them online. I don't know why but people tend to get all caught up calling them their shade versus their color, I mean come on people, their purple!

It doesn't really matter if you are looking for a single towel or purple towel set, when you start to look for it, you've just got to have it. Typically people that look for purple look for more than one, that's a little none fact for you. It kind of fits in with their personalities. Those are some really soft towels and such a deep and rich shade of purple. I love it!

Purple isn't just a girl color. There are plenty of masculine men that will sport a purple beach towel to those local sandy spots. Although there are some listed here that are more of the female persuasion.

Every time I see sea turtles I can't help but to think of 'Finding Nemo'. That was such an awesome movie and those righteous sea turtles totally made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. This one reminds me of that and not to mention such a totally cool shade of purple as well, righteous!

Maybe you dig purple just because you are a huge Minnesota Vikings fan, now there's a famous purple contingent. If you are a rabid, horn-wearing Vikings fan or maybe you just know one, then you've got to have a big 'ol Vikings beach towel to get down and dirty in the sand with.

You could even take them to the game as something to sit on either out in the parking lot while tailgating or fold it up to put it in the seat as a cushion (and height adjuster) so you can see over that big, burly guy with the viking hat sitting in front of you. If you are purchasing purple towels, then to really complete the look and make it a little more uniform, it's best to add some other accessories to your bathroom to give it that chic appeal. There are a lot of things you can do to accomplish this like matching up a new purple shower curtain to offset those towels. You could even use a bright white shower curtain with some cute purple shower curtain hooks to add another level of purple to your bath.

Oh, and don't forget to change out those bathroom rugs, toilet rug and seat cover. I can just picture it now, a pure white walled bathroom with nothing but purple accessories. That would be pretty stunning IMO.

Purple has been around a long, long time. Some of the best purple culture out there, well besides the Minnesota Vikings, has to come from songs. To start off with, you've got the band Deep Purple who's been around forever. They've been out rocking songs like 'Smoke on the Water' and 'Highway Star' (<- one of my faves) for a long time. They don't ever seem to get old.

But to take a step back a little further, you could jump all the way back to Sheb Wooley with a song that might be your fascinating reason for simply loving the color purple. His one and only hit was a monster, a one-eyed, one-horned, flying purple people eater monster. In my opinion, one of the funnest songs ever recorded.

Your love of purple could've even extended from the guitar virtuoso Prince from his rendition of 'Purple Rain'. Oh the memories. I love, love, love this song and definitely has an extent into my infatuation of the color purple. Baby I could never steal you from another, It's such a shame our friendship had to end. Give it a listen again for a refresher.
